- 9 May 2011 Victor Launder, a former architect and senior lecturer at the University of Bristol, has died peacefully in his sleep, aged 94. His wife, Ann, offers this tribute.

- 10 November 2009 Michael (Mick) Wiffin, a porter at the Wills Memorial Building, passed away suddenly on the weekend of 7 November after a short illness.
